Job summary

Synechron is hiring a Senior Network Engineer in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The ideal candidate has 8–15 years of connectivity design, implementation and management experience and immediate notice.

You will design, deploy, and manage LAN/WLAN, SD-Access, and security architectures across our enterprise networks while coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring high availability. The role emphasizes Cisco WLC/WiFi, SD-Access, network security (Palo Alto, ASA/Firepower), VPN gateways, ISE and proxy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience 8 years in connectivity design, implementation, and management.
• In-depth experience with LAN deployment and troubleshooting, Cisco WLC and Wifi technologies, SD-Access, network security and VPN gateways.
• Experience with Cisco ISE and proxy solutions, network automation and scripting, high availability and disaster recovery, data center networks, and SNMP monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage connectivity solutions across the enterprise.
• Deploy and troubleshoot LAN and WLAN infrastructure including Cisco WLC and Wifi tech.
• Deploy and troubleshoot SD-Access, Cisco Catalyst and related technologies.
• Implement network security using Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco ASA/Firepower, VPN gateways, ISE and proxy solutions.
• Develop and maintain network automation and scripting to improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery for core networks.
• Operate and optimize data center networks and monitor performance using SNMP.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across IT and business units to meet requirements.
