Job summary

Capcon Asia in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a senior DevOps professional to partner with the Head of Engineering as their right hand for DevOps and cloud initiatives. You will champion a new DevOps culture and shape how the tech team ships, scales, and innovates with end-to-end architectural ownership.

The role requires 5+ years in Cloud/DevOps/SRE/Infra, strong AWS experience, and hands-on ability to design automation and CI/CD pipelines while guiding the team across KL and regional engineering

Qualifications

AWS (AWS Certs bonus)
CI/CD tooling and deployment strategies
Cloud migration, IaC / Terraform / Ansible (nice-to-have)

Responsibilities

Implement DevOps practices, frameworks, architecture, automation, integrations and processes
Analyse business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas for improvement
Cloud design, strategy and planning
Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration and deployment
Design the CI/CD pipelines for various software projects
