Job summary

Intel in Malaysia, Kulim is seeking an experienced process engineer to drive technology development and enablement for high-volume manufacturing and future technologies. You will lead design and development of sophisticated manufacturing processes, perform feasibility studies, and collaborate with suppliers to advance equipment solutions.

The role requires advanced degrees and strong skills in statistics, data analytics, and process control.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering with 6+ years of experience, or higher degrees with fewer years.
Proficiency in statistical analysis and data analytics.
Experience in process characterization, manufacturing process control, and process development.
Knowledge of experimental design and statistical process control methods.
Familiarity with test and measurement equipment, schematics, and process control systems.

Responsibilities

Drives technology development and enablement for high-volume manufacturing and future technology.
Leads design and development of manufacturing processes and repair reverse engineering.
Performs pathfinding for process and hardware development and roadmaps.
Recommends and implements modifications for equipment to improve production efficiency.
Partners with suppliers to develop enabling elements of the technology.
Performs process technology feasibility studies through simulations or engineering methods.
Keeps updated on industry trends and collaborates with vendors to build cost-sensitive roadmaps.
