Job summary

ICCO Marketing (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a dynamic Business Development Executive to grow our modern trade portfolio, including supermarkets, hypermarkets, and key retail chains.

You will build strong customer relationships, achieve sales targets, manage key accounts, coordinate listings and promotions, and drive product visibility across outlets while traveling for customer meetings as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Key Account Management, or Modern Trade.
• Experience dealing with supermarkets, hypermarkets, retail chains, or modern trade accounts is an added advantage.
• Strong negotiation, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of English, Bahasa and Mandarin will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong business relationships with modern trade customers, retail chains, supermarkets, and hypermarkets.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's modern trade customer base.
• Achieve assigned sales targets, revenue, and distribution objectives.
• Manage key accounts and negotiate pricing, promotions, listing fees, rebates, and other commercial terms.
• Develop and execute sales strategies and promotional activities to increase product sales.
• Coordinate with customers on product listing, promotions, displays, launches, and in-store activities.
• Monitor product availability, stock levels, pricing, and visibility at retail outlets.
• Conduct regular market visits to monitor competitors, market trends, pricing, and promotional activities.
