Job summary

RHB Bank Berhad is seeking a Technical Lead for Middleware System Services to drive architecture, design and implementation of enterprise middleware platforms across Group entities. You will lead engineering teams, ensure high availability, and coordinate with vendors on upgrades and improvements.

The role emphasizes strong technical leadership, incident management and adherence to IT governance, audits and regulatory standards, with on-call support as needed across multiple business units.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Enterprise Middleware platforms (IBM WebSphere MQ, WAS, JBoss EAP, WebLogic).
• Experience designing, implementing, supporting and optimizing large-scale, high-availability middleware infra.
• Proven incident management, problem analysis, capacity planning and performance tuning.
• Demonstrated leadership with mentoring and guiding technical teams.
• Familiarity with IT governance, audit requirements and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design, architecture planning, and implementation of enterprise middleware systems.
• Deliver resilient, high-performance and highly available middleware platforms with SLA alignment.
• Perform configuration, capacity planning and performance tuning of middleware stack.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and operational runbooks.
• Escalate and resolve complex technical issues, guide engineering teams in RCAs.
• Manage incidents, DR/BC plans, and coordinate vendor evaluations for upgrades.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in on-call rotations.
• Provide regular performance and health reporting to stakeholders.
