Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Senior Project Manager / Head of Project Department to lead end-to-end execution of MEP and infrastructure projects across Southeast Asia and international markets. You will oversee site execution, installation, contracts, and subcontractor management to deliver safely, on time, and within budget.

You will lead a team of Project Managers, Engineers, Site Managers, and contractors, establishing SOPs and governance while ensuring quality, safety, testing, commissioning,

Qualifications

• 15–20 years in project management, EPC or heavy industrial/piping construction.
• Background in industrial piping, industrial gas, semiconductor fab, petrochemical or Oil & Gas.
• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Process, Electrical or Mechatronics.
• Experience managing major project portfolios.
• Strong experience in subcontractor management, contracts, claims, cost control and site execution.
• PMP / Professional Engineer (Ir./PE) is an advantage.
• Willing to travel for regional and international projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple site construction, piping and installation projects from PO award through commissioning and handover.
• Manage Project Managers/Engineers, Site Managers, subcontractors and installation teams.
• Control project schedule, budget, profitability, quality and HSE/safety performance.
• Manage contracts, Variation Orders (VO), EOT claims, procurement and commercial risks.
• Ensure compliance with ASME, process piping and relevant statutory/HSE requirements.
• Coordinate technical matters, testing, commissioning, SAT and final project handover.
• Establish project SOPs, governance, monitoring and execution standards for the department.
