Job summary

Orangeleaf Consulting is seeking an experienced L3 Support Engineer to lead Mendix-based incidents and small changes, owning client relationships, budgets, and SLA commitments end-to-end.

You will work as the senior technical owner of managed support engagements, coordinating between client teams and our delivery staff, deploying fixes to production, and delivering reliable, on-time changes with clear communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Application Support, Software Development, or IT Operations.
• Hands-on Mendix development and troubleshooting.
• Experience coordinating deployments in live client environments.
• Excellent English communication with stakeholders.
• Experience tracking budgets, effort estimates, and approvals for tickets or change requests.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior (L3) escalation point for incidents and change requests on the Mendix platform.
• Investigate, root-cause analysis, and implement code changes to resolve bugs and deliver small CRs.
• Coordinate and execute deployments, ensuring releases do not disrupt the client team.
• Provide accurate effort estimations with budget justification to the client when needed.
• Track budget consumption and manage client approvals for additional budgets.
• Ensure tickets are investigated, estimated, and completed within SLA and budget.
• Communicate status, requirements, and updates with clients and internal teams.
• Log, track, and manage tickets through the company’s ticketing system.
• Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and propose permanent improvements.
• Collaborate with Software Engineers and Consultants on complex problems.
• Support deployments, testing, and post-release verification.
• Conduct system health checks, preventive maintenance, and knowledge base updates.
• Escalate critical issues and ensure proper follow-up until closure.
• Identify opportunities to improve support processes and customer satisfaction.
