Job summary

Mi Equipment is seeking a Kaizen Coordinator in Penang, Malaysia, to support and coordinate Kaizen implementation across the production floor. You will manage documentation control, ensure adherence to Kaizen and 5S standards, and drive continuous improvement projects with the manufacturing team.

The role requires a Diploma/Bachelor’s in Engineering, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to mentor junior engineers while collaborating with design and production teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical/ Mechatronics or equivalent).
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to trouble shoot and solve technical problems independently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain documentation control and production process records.
• Coordinate Kaizen events and process improvements across the manufacturing division.
• Support Kaizen implementation, 5S checks, and safety standards.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and operators.
