Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering or closely related field.
• 15+ years of manufacturing experience in mechanical assembly or electromechanical systems.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a high-performance team of mechanical test engineers, automation specialists, and technicians.
• Develop and enforce robust physical testing protocols (torque, leak/pressure, stress/strain, thermal cycling, CMM) and drive automation to reduce cycle times.
• Collaborate with Program Management and customers for DFT/DFM feedback and NPI testing fixture design.
• Ensure compliance with ISO/ASTM/ASME and customer regulatory requirements and promote safety in heavy machinery/robotics testing.
• Manage CapEx budget for test equipment and standardize testing platforms across Plexus.
