Job summary

ELSA in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee plant equipment, machinery and facilities. You will lead preventive, corrective and emergency maintenance, diagnose faults and coordinate with engineers and contractors to minimise downtime while ensuring safety and compliance.

The role requires at least 5 years in a supervisory capacity with strong mechanical knowledge, reading drawings, and experience with CMMS SAP PM.

Qualifications

• Diploma in science or engineering/technology or INSTEP certificate.
• Minimum 5 years experience in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, maintenance tools and practices.
• Ability to read drawings and perform basic engineering calculations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth, reliable operation of plant equipment and facilities through preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance.
• Coordinate with engineers, planners and contractors; document work and monitor equipment condition to ensure compliance and asset integrity.
