Job summary

Micron Technology seeks a Systems Owner / Mechanical Facilities Engineer to oversee chilled-water, PCW, and glycol systems across build, commissioning, and operation. You will lead maintenance programs, coordinate with vendors, and ensure safe, continuous fab operations while aligning with Micron’s AI and energy-management goals.

The role requires 5+ years in mechanical facilities, experience with BMS and SAP PM, and a strong foundation in thermodynamics and rotating equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, accredited university.
• Experience in central chilled-water plants, process cooling, and glycol systems.
• Knowledge of BMS, SAP PM, and AI-enabled efficiency tools.

Responsibilities

• Act as O&M owner for mechanical utility systems, ensuring 24/7 availability.
• Develop and refine preventive and predictive maintenance strategies using RCM/FMEA.
• Plan maintenance via SAP PM, manage work orders, and control budgets.
