Jabil in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Engineer with deep expertise to lead cross-functional design and manufacturing initiatives. This role requires communicating technical solutions to engineers and business teams and releasing products into production.

You will mentor Associate Engineers, provide onsite manufacturing support, and collaborate with project managers on quotes, design reviews, and VAVE activities while staying current with new technologies to deliver cost-effective, reliable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Minimum of 5+ years of related experience and/or training.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Professional Engineer.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C#, Java, or SQL is an added advantage.

Responsabilités

• Meets the requirements of a Professional Engineer.
• SME in field of competency.
• Represents Jabil Engineering Services in technical customer discussions / meetings.
• Works with Project Managers and Lead Engineers in the quoting process.
• Provides technical input to help identify and solve project risks that may affect overall project plans and schedules.
• Supports the development and utilization of processes for design/VAVE.
• At the appropriate process phase gates, provides a complete design package to be entered into our PDM system...
• Participates in all elements of Engineering Services including design reviews and design verification, supply chain & supplier interaction, transfer to design/manufacturing.
• Mentors Associate Engineers, or Engineering Services Tech.
• Provides onsite technical support for all manufacturing builds including engineering prototypes, NPI & production releases.
• Stays abreast of the latest technology and techniques to provide designs that are competitive and cost effective.
