Job summary

Jabil Circuit Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks an Automation Engineering Technician Lead to support design engineers across mechanical, electrical, electronics, and software automation projects. You will draft design drawings and provide end-user installation and training.

The role requires coordinating with assemblers, logging engineering time, and guiding entry- and journey-level technicians in project execution. Two-year technical degree and 5–7 years automation experience preferred.

Qualifications

Advanced knowledge of mechanical/electronics/electrical/software application engineering.
Knowledge of EMS industries.
Knowledge of automation equipment assembly and installation.
Ability to lead the work of entry and journey level technicians.

Responsibilities

Supports design of automation equipment in respective areas of expertise (Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, Software).
Works with internal/external Assemblers on assembly of designed equipment.
Supports drafting of design drawings, preparation, and development of user manuals.
Conducts equipment installation and end user training.
Ensures all engineering times are logged into the tracking system.
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
