PMX Malaysia Sdn. Bhd.

is seeking Senior Mechanical Engineers/Mechanical Engineers to oversee mechanical engineering activities from planning and design through construction, testing, commissioning, and project closeout. Ideal candidates will have experience leading mechanical teams on large-scale construction projects and a strong background in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems, with exposure to data centres.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in mechanical engineering, construction, M&E, industrial, or data centre projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, chilled water, plumbing, firefighting, and other mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with project management, construction methodologies, QA/QC, EHS, and Testing & Commissioning processes.
• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day mechanical engineering and project planning activities.
• Oversee project functions including site management, engineering management, procurement, project controls, and construction management.
• Prepare and review installation methods, work procedures, task plans, and technical guidance.
• Monitor project progress against budget and project schedules.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, QA/QC, and company standards across all mechanical works.
• Prepare progress reports, meeting minutes, and technical documentation.
• Identify project variations, risks, and opportunities, and elevate where necessary.
• Lead and coordinate Testing & Commissioning activities for mechanical systems.
• Support tender preparation and project closeout activities, including warranties and final acceptance.
• Take ownership of all mechanical-related works throughout the project lifecycle.

We are seeking experienced and motivated Senior Mechanical Engineers / Mechanical Engineers to oversee mechanical engineering activities from planning and design through construction, testing, commissioning, and project closeout.

Proven experience leading mechanical engineering teams and managing large-scale construction projects.

Ability to provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and drive project delivery from concept to completion
