Job summary

Onesubsea is seeking a Senior Engineer - Mechanical to contribute to innovative, cost-effective solutions and to develop and sustain new or improved techniques, procedures, or products. You will assist in planning and evaluating approaches to meet project objectives in a timely fashion.

Responsibilities include designing, prototyping, lab simulations, testing, documentation, and customer presentations. You will mentor junior engineers and collaborate to expand expertise across the organization.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying and organizing requirements.
• Analyze, design, develop, and maintain products; assist in commercialization.
• Build prototypes and run lab simulations; design tests and document results.
• Produce analyses and models; draw design conclusions.
• Review requirements, designs, and artifacts; contribute to design standards.
• Create and maintain product documentation; provide field/customer support.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide technicians.
• Evaluate engineering approaches and risks; stay abreast of new concepts.
