Job summary

SLB is seeking a Senior Engineer - Mechanical to drive innovative and cost-effective solutions, developing new techniques and sustaining improved products. This role involves leading design, testing, documentation, and mentoring of junior engineers to ensure project objectives are met on time and in compliance with industry standards.

You will contribute to prototyping, lab simulations, and technical reviews, while maintaining thorough product documentation and customer support as required.

Qualifications

• Degree or higher required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying and organizing requirements using usability principles.
• Analyze, design, and maintain products and assist in commercialization.
• Build prototypes and run lab simulations; design tests and document results.
• Produce analyses and mathematical models; draw design conclusions.
• Participate in technical reviews of requirements, specifications, designs, code and other artifacts.
• Create and maintain product documentation; provide customer support.
• Assign and review work of technicians; mentor junior engineers with seniority.
• Continually evaluate engineering approaches and risks.
• Author technical reports, papers, patents and presentations; share expertise internally.
• Keep abreast of new concepts and adopt practices for low-cost products.
