Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG is seeking a Senior Engineer, Facility Mechanical, to drive reliability and efficiency in our R&D mechanical systems. You will lead preventive maintenance, capacity planning, and system upgrades while coordinating cross-functional projects and safety compliance within a semiconductor environment.

The role requires 5+ years in mission-critical mechanical maintenance, hands-on troubleshooting, and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related qualification.
• 5+ years of experience in semiconductor plant or related mission-critical environments.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical installations, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, upgrade, and conduct capacity studies for mechanical systems.
• Plan, review, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure reliability.
• Lead troubleshooting, FMEA, and 8D problem solving to improve system reliability.
• Coordinate design reviews, FAT/SAT, commissioning and handover of new or modified systems.
• Manage spare parts, documentation, and asset information for accuracy.
