Infineon Technologies AG in Malaysia seeks an Electrical Engineer to join the Manufacturing and Operations team. You will work on electrical systems, ensure compliance, coordinate with local authorities, and support project execution, while driving reliability and digitalization.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical or related field and at least 5 years in semiconductor facilities. You will lead improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma and SPC to boost efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in electrical engineering within semiconductor facilities management or related industries.
• Experience leading problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives (8D, Lean Six Sigma, SPC, Change Management).

Responsabilités

• Ensure zero legal and corporate non-compliance related to the electrical system; liaise with local authorities (ST, TNB, etc.).
• Develop and implement capacity monitoring and planning using Tableau, SAP and other digital platforms.
• Define and maintain the technology roadmap, specs, databases, and documentation for the electrical system per regulations and corporate requirements.
• Lead and/or support project execution activities including feasibility, budgeting, design criteria, calculations, drawings, and cost control.
• Serve as the site focal point for electrical systems and provide technical support to project and operations teams.
• Act as the local site electrical system expert and representative for collaboration within the Facility Management Cluster.
