Job summary

For the Senior Mechanical Engineer role, a Bachelor's or Professional degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 7 years' relevant experience are required, with preference for consultancy or construction project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or professional degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Senior Executive with Mechanical Engineering specialization preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience.
• Experience in consultancy or construction projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detail design calculations.
• Check engineering drawings.
• Prepare tender and contract documents.
• Prepare cost estimates for tender packages.
• Liaise with authorities, resident engineer and site supervisor.
• Check engineers’ review of contractors’ submittals and shop drawings.
• Assess progress claims for works completed.
• Review design changes.
• Attend project and site meetings.
• Participate in ISO 9001 implementation for quality system.
• Assist Principal Engineers in administration works contracts.
• Take on additional assignments by Principal, Directors or Associate as needed.
