Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in mechanical design for electronics platforms.
• Proficiency with Creo and/or SolidWorks for complex assemblies.
• Experience with thermal simulations (Icepak/FloTHERM/CFD).
• Knowledge of heat transfer, cooling, and mechanical interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Own mechanical architecture for boards and platforms, balancing performance and manufacturability.
• Create 3D CAD models, drawings, interfaces, and heatsink assemblies.
• Develop thermal-management solutions and validate with simulations and lab data.
• Lead design reviews, risk analysis, and release documentation.
• Collaborate with electrical, silicon, and manufacturing teams across locations.
