Job summary

KIDE INTERNATIONAL SDN BHD is seeking a Mechanical Construction Manager to lead the overall mechanical construction on the project, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget adherence.

You will supervise Mechanical Engineers, subcontractors and site teams, coordinate with design consultants, plan programmes, monitor progress, resolve clashes, and drive commissioning activities to project handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, with professional registration preferred.
• 8–12 years of relevant mechanical construction experience on large projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for mechanical construction activities on the project.
• Plan, coordinate, supervise, and monitor all mechanical works.
• Ensure construction activities comply with drawings, specs, method statements, and project requirements.
• Establish construction priorities and coordinate work sequences.
• Ensure mechanical works progress according to the master programme.
• Provide leadership and technical direction to the mechanical construction team.
• Monitor site productivity and construction performance.
• Resolve technical and construction issues promptly.
• Coordinate with consultants and design teams on technical matters.
