Job summary

KIDE INTERNATIONAL SDN BHD in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Mechanical Engineer to provide technical support, planning, coordination, supervision, and implementation of mechanical works across the project lifecycle.

The role involves ensuring mechanical installations comply with approved drawings, standards and safety regulations, while coordinating with consultants, contractors, and other disciplines to ensure timely completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and recognised Malaysian qualification.
• Experience in construction, M&E, building services, or infrastructure projects.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specs.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of Malaysian standards, regulations and authority requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Coordinate mechanical designs with architectural, structural, electrical and other M&E services.
• Monitor site installation and ensure workmanship aligns with drawings and specs.
• Prepare shop drawings, material submissions, method statements and technical submissions.
• Assist testing, commissioning, and handover activities; resolve site issues.
