Job summary

ams OSRAM Group is seeking a Project Lead for material development in Malaysia to drive planning, review and execution of material development projects, including PPCM, with cross-functional teams. You will lead investigations, collaborate with suppliers and production, and ensure manufacturability and benchmarking while applying strong analytical and statistical skills.

• Bachelor's or Master degree in Engineering (Mechanical/ Mechatronic/ Electromechanical), Engineering (Metallurgy/ Material Science), Physics or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years in the field of material development or R&D development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience in project management; programming is a plus.
• Good interpersonal and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage material development projects and PPCM planning, review and execution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and production counterparts.
• Lead investigations and drive implementation of solutions for conversion material projects.
• Engage experts to ensure manufacturability is considered.
• Support technology enabling projects and benchmarking in materials and processes.
