Job summary

Celestica in Kulai, Malaysia seeks a Senior Supply Chain Specialist to safeguard uninterrupted production by managing critical material supply lines and seamless BOM transitions. You will serve as a central hub across Production, Engineering, GSCM, Finance, and customers, resolving shortages, coordinating EC changes, and driving BOM accuracy.

The role emphasizes crisis resolution, data integrity, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in material planning.
• Experience in Contract Manufacturing (EMS/CM) environments is a strong advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Supply Chain, Business, Engineering) or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recovery for critical components and chassis, coordinating rework, returns, and expediting with suppliers.
• Execute BOM transitions by managing EC cut-in dates in SAP and NGPLM; resolve demand calls and TCO requests to reflect material requirements.
• Coordinate risk-based sourcing and PPV tracking with finance to control costs and approvals for absorbed costs.
• Monitor CTB and CTS statuses with planners to secure supply for critical batches and align with demand upside.
• Communicate status updates to internal management and key customers regarding supply risks and delivery schedules.
• Collaborate with SQE to address recurring quality issues and ensure adherence to delivery commitments.
• Leverage SAP MM, Demand Planning, and MRP proficiency; use PLM tools for BOM and ECO workflows.
• Summarize demand, inventory delta, and cost variances using Excel for decision making.
