Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Senior Executive (Material Planner) in Johor Bahru to lead end‑to‑end material readiness, using Kinaxis and SAP to optimize inventory and mitigate supply risks. The role is based in Senai, Johor, with overtime during peak production or month‑end closes.

You will coordinate between Engineering, Procurement and Global Customers to support revenue targets and manage CTB processes, EC changes and inventory optimization initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business or related quantitative field.
• 3–8 years of experience in material planning or inventory control.
• Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) and high‑mix/low‑volume environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own the CTB process and lead weekly CTB reviews using Kinaxis, ensuring visibility into 13 weeks of demand across planned and work orders.
• Model scenarios to assess impact of urgent orders on schedules and revenue; oversee PR‑to‑PO flow and resolve bottlenecks.
• Oversee EC implementations and calculate depletion dates to minimize Excess & Obsolete inventory; optimize safety stock levels.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Engineering, Procurement and Logistics; manage customer calls, audits, counts and shipping priorities.
• Maintain data integrity (PIR updates) and support regional localization and strategic sourcing reporting.
