Job summary

CITAGLOBAL LAND SDN BHD is seeking a PROJECT MANAGER - CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING (MARINE) to lead Langkawi development from planning through delivery. You will coordinate engineers, consultants and contractors, supervise marine-based works and ensure safety, cost control and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires 8–12 years of PM experience in marine or waterfront projects, with strong leadership, scheduling and contract management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Marine Engineering or related discipline.
• PE registration/Professional Engineer status is a plus.
• 8–12 years of relevant construction and engineering PM experience.
• Experience in marine, coastal, waterfront or infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing contractors, consultants and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination and execution from pre-construction through handover.
• Oversee marine, coastal and waterfront construction activities.
• Develop and monitor schedules, budgets, manpower and resources.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, authorities and stakeholders.
• Review drawings, specifications, method statements and submissions.
• Ensure works meet designs, standards and contractual requirements.
• Monitor risks, delays and issues and implement corrective actions.
• Manage contractors to ensure quality, safety and timely completion.
• Oversee project cost variations, claims and budget performance.
• Ensure compliance with marine, environmental and safety requirements.
