Job summary

TMK Construction & Transport Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead and manage construction projects from initiation to successful completion. You will ensure on-time delivery within contractual requirements and manage budgets, teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, with at least 8 years of construction experience and 3 years in a PM role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of construction experience, with at least 3 years in a Project Manager role.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, contract administration, project planning and cost control.
• Familiar with claims, VO, EOT, project scheduling, and site management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage construction projects from commencement to successful completion.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor project progress, quality, safety, and budget.
• Manage project team, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and clients.
• QA/QC on project implementation.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Ensure compliance with policies, contract specifications, and statutory requirements.
• Resolve technical, operational, and site issues promptly.
• Conduct and chair site meetings with site teams.
• Prepare and attend compliance reports and site meetings.
