Job summary

CITAGLOBAL LAND SDN BHD invites a seasoned Project Manager – Construction Engineering (Marine) to lead the Langkawi development. You will oversee planning, execution and delivery of marine-related works, ensuring safety, budget adherence and schedule compliance with all required engineering and environmental standards.

Based in Langkawi, you will coordinate consultants, contractors and authorities, review drawings and submissions, monitor progress and costs, and drive risk mitigation to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Marine Engineering or related discipline.
• Professional Engineering qualification/registration adds advantage.
• Minimum 8–12 years of relevant experience in construction and engineering project management.
• Strong experience in marine, maritime, coastal, waterfront or infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in managing contractors, consultants and multidisciplinary teams.
• Willing to be based in or regularly stationed at Langkawi during the project.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination and execution from pre-construction through completion and handover.
• Oversee marine, coastal, waterfront and infrastructure works.
• Develop and monitor schedules, budgets, manpower, resources and programs.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and authorities.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Ensure activities comply with designs, specs, contracts and standards.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and implement corrective actions.
• Manage contractors and stakeholders to ensure quality, safety and timely completion.
• Monitor costs, variations, claims and overall budget performance.
• Ensure compliance with construction, marine, environmental and safety requirements.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Establish reporting and progress monitoring systems.
• Lead project meetings and provide updates to Management.
• Build relationships with Langkawi authorities and stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery, cost, quality and outcomes.
