Job summary

Celestica Inc. is seeking a Lead Engineer, Manufacturing Process to drive process development and changes for new models in a contract manufacturing environment.

You will lead ECN change management, define assembly processes, and prepare work instructions for production, working closely with design, manufacturing, and quality teams. You will analyze BOMs, leverage SAP for production planning, manage a small engineering project team, and ensure costs and scheduling align with Celestica’s business

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of related experience in contract manufacturing
• Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with SAP and ECN change management
• Ability to develop process flows and assembly processes for new models
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Lead ECN change management supporting production implementation
• Develop process flow and define assembly processes for engineering changes and new model development
• Prepare and review Work Instruction for production
• Customer's BOM analysis and structure definition for production
• Familiar with SAP system and sort string define
• Knowledge in PCBA assembly process flow and D/PFMEA
• Manage small engineering projects including planning, roles, and communication
• Understand budgeting and cost accounting practices relevant to engineering work
• Communicate proactively about profitability and project requirements
