As an Operations Engineering Associate at Celestica, you are responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to meet quality, cost, and delivery goals. A primary focus of this role is managing the Engineering Change (EC) process, ensuring seamless implementation of changes from both customers and internal teams.
Analyze customer change requests from Matrix ECs to determine site impact
Decide the disposition for released ECs and monitor system updates for HALB (semi-finished) and FERT (finished) items
Process all internal and external Engineering Change Notice (ECN) requests and coordinate activities with Work Cell staff
Bridge Matrix ECs in SAP based on depletion dates, verify the accuracy of bridging, and check for IDoc errors
Maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) routing and component allocation to ensure 100% BOM accuracy
Update SAP for AVL (Approved Vendor List), new part numbers, and technical drawings
Refresh routing for all Manufacturing Information Package (MIP) releases
Maintain input placement for planning assembly releases based on engineering decisions
Chair weekly customer ECO (Engineering Change Order) meetings and coordinate daily/weekly Change Control Board (CCB) meetings
Resolve system issues and liaise with IT support for BOM-related problems
At least 1 year of experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to work on-site in Senai
