Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager in Seri Kembangan, Malaysia to oversee daily payroll operations for 1000+ employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strict statutory compliance across local and overseas requirements. You will manage year-end activities, generate EA forms, and liaise with tax authorities and external payroll providers.

You will lead a payroll team of more than ten staff, collaborate with HR, Finance and Legal, set performance expectations, drive process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in HR, business administration, or related field.
• 7–8 years of payroll experience.
• Experience supervising a team of more than 10 staff.
• Experience handling payroll for 1000+ employees.
• Detail-oriented with strong numerical and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day payroll operations, including but not limited to payroll processing, allowances, andemployee record management.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory requirement, local and overseas payroll, including tax filing andreporting.
• Manage year-end payroll activities, including generate EA, E form, Tax audit etc.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the payroll team, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Define role, set performance expectation, and conduct regular review.
• Resolve complex payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries.
• Optimize payroll process for efficiency, accuracy, and automation.
• Generate payroll reports for management, audits, and financial report.
• Ensure data integrity and security in payroll records. Liaise with external payroll providers, tax agencies andauditors.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Legal and other department on payroll-related matters.

Requirements
