Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for new components and materials in line with NPI timelines.
- Act as the procurement lead in NPI meetings; coordinate with Quality, Manufacturing, and Commodity teams to ensure supplier readiness and compliance.
- Drive cost reduction through early supplier engagement and design-to-cost initiatives; assess and mitigate supply risks including sole sourcing and long‑lead items.
- Oversee accurate purchase orders, supplier documentation, ERP data setup, and smooth handover from NPI to mass production.
- Lead and coach subordinates, manage performance and disciplinary actions, and ensure adherence to company policies, legal, and environmental standards.
- Champion automation, process optimization, and inventory efficiency; support change management and crisis response as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Over 8 years in procurement or supply chain, including 4+ years in NPI or project‑based purchasing.
- Strong knowledge of SAP, manufacturing processes, BOM structures, and product lifecycle management.
- Proficient in data digitalization, data analysis, and visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
- Proven people management experience, leading a team of 3 or more; capable of working under pressure and flexible hours.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership abilities.
- Candidates from construction, MNC, or semiconductor environments preferred.
