Revion Holdings Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Finance Leader to direct the finance and accounting function for the company and related entities. You will oversee monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial planning to drive business performance.
The role requires 8+ years in finance with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity, strong knowledge of accounting standards and internal controls, and proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
Lead and oversee the overall finance and accounting functions of the Company and its related entities. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts, financial statements and management reports. Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes and monitor actual performance against approved budgets.
Key responsibilities
Manage the Company's cash flow, treasury activities, banking facilities and funding requirements to ensure sufficient liquidity for business and project operations
Review financial performance, identify significant variances and provide financial analysis and recommendations to Management
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, fixed assets, bank reconciliations and other accounting functions
Ensure proper financial controls, policies, procedures and approval processes are implemented and consistently followed
Oversee project accounting, development expenditure, project cash flow, cost monitoring and financial reporting for property development projects
Monitor project collections, progress billings, payments and financial commitments in coordination with relevant departments
Liaise with banks and financial institutions on project financing, banking facilities, drawdowns, repayments and other financing matters
Coordinate and manage annual statutory audits and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, bankers and relevant authorities
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, taxation requirements, statutory regulations and Company policies
Lead, supervise, coach and develop the Finance & Accounts team and ensure departmental KPIs and deadlines are achieved
About you
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking or a related discipline
Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, ICAEW, MICPA or equivalent
Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience in finance and accounting, preferably within the property development, real estate or construction industry
At least 3 years of managerial experience leading a Finance & Accounts function or team
Strong experience in financial reporting, management accounting, budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow management
Solid knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, audit, statutory compliance and internal controls
Experience in property development accounting, project financing, project cash-flow management and banking facilities
Strong financial analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial information and provide recommendations to Management
Strong leadership and people-management skills with the ability to manage and develop a finance team
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting/ERP systems and financial reporting tools
