Job summary

SD Guthrie Berhad is seeking a senior leader to head Group Integrity & Governance. You will oversee governance policies, anti-corruption, whistleblowing and vendor code of conduct across the Group, driving ethics programs and ensuring timely execution of the GIG plan.

The ideal candidate will have a law-related degree, senior management experience, and strong skills in communication, negotiation and investigations to support Directors, Management and Employees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline, preferably Law.
• Professional qualification in related field.
• 12+ years related experience in governance/compliance.
• Senior management experience (10+ years) with leadership of compliance programs.
• Understanding of governance, risks, controls and legal/regulatory compliance.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Experience in fraud investigations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head of Group Integrity & Governance to implement integrity & governance programmes.
• Review governance policies and update code of conduct, anti-corruption, whistleblowing policies.
• Drive ethics and integrity programmes Group-wide and measure effectiveness.
• Lead integrity communication programmes through training and awareness.
• Oversee whistleblowing function and assess investigations.
• Prepare reports and briefings for Board and Management.
• Support GIG human capital requirements including succession planning.
• Ensure Annual Plan and Programmes are executed timely.
