Job summary

Yeow Jih Industries Sdn. Bhd. in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan is seeking a Technical Supervisor / Technical Leader to oversee technical operations and maintenance of customer equipment and facilities. This full-time role focuses on planning, supervising maintenance, and ensuring safety and quality compliance. You will lead maintenance teams, develop preventive schedules, troubleshoot issues, and liaise with production to align with operations, aiming to maximise uptime and productivity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of technical supervisory or leadership experience in engineering or manufacturing.
• Proficient in AutoCAD with site inspection and meetings experience.
• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Strong maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals and specs.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills; able to lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan and supervise daily maintenance activities of the technical teams servicing equipment at customer sites.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimise downtime and maximise productivity.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues and oversee repairs.
• Liaise with production to align maintenance with operations.
• Monitor equipment performance data to identify improvements.
• Provide technical guidance and training to the maintenance team.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with management to optimise maintenance strategies.
