Job summary

CNMY is seeking an M&E Engineer to join their team and deliver industrial projects for an international client base. The role involves supporting project teams to meet cost, time, quality and safety targets, with a focus on design and construction management.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with about 7 years of experience in project management/delivery and is comfortable traveling and seconding to sites during construction.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: A Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or above is essential.
• Experience: At least 7 years of experience in Project Management, Design Consulting, and Industrial Projects.
• Skills: Strong people management, leadership, and communication skills are a must.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and design software is required.
• Travel: Willingness to travel and be seconded to project sites during the construction stage.

Responsibilities

• Project Support: Assist the project team in delivering projects within cost, time, quality, and safety requirements.
• Design Management: Support design management, tender management, and construction management activities.
• Vendor Selection: Participate in the tender process to select contractors and vendors.
• Construction Oversight: Oversee project schedules, construction sequences, and quality control systems.
• Site Coordination: Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Continuous Improvement: Assist in establishing and improving work methodologies and project management systems.
