Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking experienced intermediate to senior Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Design Engineers to support the design and coordination of large-scale industrial construction projects, including data centers, semiconductor plants, and high-tech manufacturing facilities.

The role emphasizes building services engineering and high-reliability systems, with responsibilities spanning design leadership, client liaison, and technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of practical M&E design experience in building services or industrial sectors.
• Experience with mission critical projects is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.
• Familiar with local and international codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of complex M&E systems for large industrial projects.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for international clients.
• Interpret and translate complex specifications into actionable design solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams, architects, and stakeholders.
• Prepare detailed calculations, reports, and tender documents.
• Oversee site inspections and ensure code compliance.
• Implement value engineering to optimize project efficiency.
