Job summary

Beacon M&E Engineering Services Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an M&E Project Engineer to coordinate and drive projects from planning through completion.

The role requires managing site progress, ensuring quality and safety, and preparing comprehensive documentation for claims, invoices, and RFIs. You will liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and authorities, monitor schedules and budgets, and support multiple projects with regular updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in M&E construction projects, preferably in high-rise residential, commercial, or mixed development projects.
• Hands-on experience in managing M&E works for high-rise building projects is required.
• Able to read and interpret M&E drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD. Knowledge of Revit/BIM is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage project activities from planning to completion.
• Monitor site progress and ensure work complies with quality, safety, and project requirements.
• Prepare project documentation, including progress reports, claims, quotations, invoices, and RFIs.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and material procurement to ensure timely completion.
• Attend site meetings and provide regular project updates.
• Identify and resolve project issues to ensure smooth project execution.
• Support multiple projects and perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
