Zalam Corporation is seeking a Senior M&E Coordinator in Malaysia to coordinate HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and process utilities for a semiconductor factory project. You will review BIM models and submittals, oversee on-site installation, and ensure compliance with safety and cleanroom standards.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in M&E coordination in cleanroom facilities, with strong knowledge of ISO 14644 and process utilities.

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Building Services Engineering.
8+ years M&E coordination experience in semiconductor, pharma, or similar cleanroom facilities.
Knowledge of cleanroom and process utility systems.

Responsibilities

Coordinate M&E works across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and process utilities.
Review 3D/BIM models with other trades to avoid clashes in tight spaces.
Review drawings and submittals from subcontractors before work proceeds.
Oversee installation on site and ensure work matches drawings and quality standards.
Ensure compliance with safety codes and ISO 14644 cleanroom standards.
Track schedule and progress, flag delays, coordinate manpower, report to project manager.
Liaise with designers, subcontractors, client facilities team, and authorities.
