Job summary

Mapletree Malaysia is seeking a Senior Technician to operate, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair building services and infrastructure within our logistics facilities. The role supports day-to-day technical management of warehouse operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and statutory compliance.

You will assist in handover of new developments, coordinate contractors, document maintenance activities, and contribute to reliability improvements while working rotating shifts including

Qualifications

• Higher/NITEC in Facility Technology or equivalent.
• At least 4 years of experience in building management and mechanical/electrical systems.
• Experience in painting, masonry, carpentry, and ironmongery is a plus.
• Chargeman or Competent Person certifications are advantageous.
• Willing to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Building operations & maintenance of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and safety systems.
• Coordinate and supervise maintenance contractors and service providers.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure asset reliability.
• Assist in handover of new logistics developments and defect inspections.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and support regulatory compliance.

Education

Higher / NITEC in Facility Technology (Mechanical & Electrical Services)

Chargeman Certificate (A4 or above)

Competent Person certification
