Job summary

Malaysian Bar in Kajang Selangor is expanding its Litigation Department and seeks Senior Litigation Associates, Chambering and Pupil. The role requires a recognized law degree with at least a 2nd Class Upper and relevant PQE for associates. Pupil candidates may be considered in a different track.

Transport is required for the role. Ideal candidates will have strong drafting and research skills, the ability to work independently (where applicable) and collaboratively within a team.

Qualifications

• For Senior Litigation Associates the candidate should have 5 years PQE in general litigation, especially civil, commercial or family.
• Recognized law degree required with a minimum of 2nd Class Upper.
• Ability to work independently (not applicable for pupil) and meticulous.
• Able to work with the team and possess drafting and research skills.
• Possess own transport.

Overview of Organisation:

We are a mid-size legal firm in Kajang Selangor with a branch in Johor Bahru and has been in active practice since 1999. We are currently expanding our Litigation Department and need for able Litigation Associates and Secretaries whom passionate and driven in the various fields of Litigation which involves civil, criminal , family and constitutional litigation matters . PQE of at least 3 years is preferable . Experience in conducting Trials will be an advantage
