AIA Shared Services in Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Life Claims Leader to oversee the strategic and operational management of Individual Life claims, ensuring timely, compliant, and customer‑focused service delivery.

The role will drive automation, governance, and cross‑functional collaboration across Finance, Legal, Technology, and Distribution; mentor the claims team; and ensure regulatory obligations and audits are met while delivering on KPIs.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in insurance, business, finance, law, medical sciences or related fields.
• 8–10 years of claims experience in insurance, including high‑value/complex claims.
• 3–5 years people management, leading claims teams.
• Strong knowledge of life/health/major claims assessment and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with major claims transformation, governance, or strategic claims initiatives is highly desirable.

Aufgaben

• Oversee Life Claims operations, ensuring timely, accurate, compliant decisions.
• Lead digital transformation projects including RPA, macro automation, and e-Submission platforms.
• Drive process improvements to boost productivity and reduce turnaround time.
• Foster cross‑functional collaboration with Finance, Legal, Technology, and Distribution.
• Mentor and develop the claims team, maintaining high performance and engagement.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and audit readiness with robust controls.
