Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) and qualified as an advocate and solicitor with a valid and current practicing certificate.
Minimum 12–15 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in litigation, debt recovery or regulated industries.
Excellent legal drafting, negotiation and analytical skills.
Knowledge of debt recovery processes and litigation procedures.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English; proficiency in legal research tools, Microsoft Office and data analytics is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Legal Recovery function and team.
Oversee legal recovery matters, including litigation coordination, recovery strategies, settlement negotiations and enforcement actions.
Manage and monitor panel lawyers to ensure timely progression of cases and achievement of recovery objectives.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on legal recovery and dispute resolution matters.
Support management in strengthening the company’s legal recovery framework, governance and recovery outcomes.
