KPJ Healthcare Berhad is seeking an Executive, Operation, Group Legal & Advisory to support the Unit Head in safeguarding the group’s legal rights and to provide timely legal guidance on operational matters across Malaysia.

You will review contracts, advise on compliance, and coordinate with external counsel for litigation strategy while collaborating cross-functionally with other departments. A strong LL.B is required, with additional qualifications enhancing leadership potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from a recognized institution (local or foreign) or an equivalent degree in a related field.
• Master of Laws (LL.M) (optional) – Specialization in Corporate, Commercial or International Law.
• Advanced Executive Programs / MBA (optional) – For leadership and business management exposure.
• Admission to the Malaysian Bar as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya is an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Advise and assist to protect KPJHB and its group of companies’ legal rights.
• Assist the Unit Head in overseeing Group Legal & Advisory functions and activities for operational matters.
• Provide legal advice to ensure compliance with laws, regulations and governance requirements.
• Negotiate, draft and review contracts, agreements and other legal documents for operational matters.
• Liaise with external counsel to manage litigation matters, including dispute resolution and strategy.
• Prepare and update relevant legal reports for management.
