Job summary

KPJ Healthcare Berhad is seeking a seasoned lawyer to support the Head of Legal & Advisory and Unit Head, focusing on corporate, banking and subsidiary matters. The role requires guiding the legal team, ensuring regulatory compliance and leading cross-functional collaboration to safeguard the company’s legal rights.

Responsibilities include negotiating and drafting contracts, advising on governance, and coordinating with external counsel on litigation strategies while monitoring ongoing cases

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of working experience in legal roles.
• Experience in corporate, banking and subsidiary matters preferred.
• Admission to the Malaysian Bar is advantageous.
• Strong advisory and contract review capabilities.
• Ability to manage teams and mentor junior lawyers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage corporate, banking and subsidiary legal matters.
• Provide legal advice to ensure compliance with laws and governance.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts and agreements.
• Liaise with external counsel on litigation and disputes.
• Lead, coach and mentor the legal team and collaborate with other departments.
