Job summary

Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU) invites applications for teaching positions at Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Senior Lecturer and Lecturer levels across Game Development, Immersive Technology, UI/UX and Software Development.

We are looking for highly motivated, passionate and qualified individuals for the positions of Associate Professor / Assistant Professor / Senior Lecturer / Lecturer in the following areas:

Key Skills & Expertise:

1. Game Development, Immersive Technology, UI/UX & Software Development

We are looking for candidates who can specifically teach in one or more of the following subject areas:

Game/VR Artist – Familiar with 3DS Max, Blender, ZBrush or Substance

Game Programmer – Familiar with C++/C# or game engines such as Godot, Unity or Unreal

VR/AR Specialist – Familiar with Unity or Unreal Engine 5

UI/UX – Familiar with Figma, Adobe XD or other imaging/design software

Programming – Python, Java, C# or C++

Web/Mobile Development – Familiar with Node.js, PHP or SQL

2. Software / Applications Development, DevOps, Cloud Computing & Core Computer Science

We are also looking for candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas:

Object-Oriented Programming using Java and C#

Blockchain Technology and applications development

Data Structures and Algorithms

Database Technology – Fundamentals and advanced database concepts, including secure database design and implementation

Python Programming

Java Design Patterns and Java Enterprise Development (J2EE)

Cloud Applications – Design and development using AWS or Azure

DevOps – CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS, Azure), containerisation and automation tools

General Requirements
