Job summary

United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd is seeking an FVP, Team Lead to head Technology Governance Assurance (TGA). You will oversee the annual Assurance Review Plan, lead end-to-end reviews across technology governance, cybersecurity, data, and operations, and provide independent challenge to controls and risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Security, Engineering or related disciplines.
• Professional certifications: CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CCSP, or other relevant tech risk certifications.
• 10–15 years in IT Audit, Cybersecurity, Technology Risk Management and Regulatory Compliance; at least 5 years in leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee Technology Governance Assurance activities to provide independent assurance on technology risk management, cybersecurity, operations and governance.
• Develop and execute annual Assurance Review Plan aligned with risk profiles and regulatory priorities.
• Oversee end-to-end reviews covering governance, cybersecurity, infrastructure, data management and cloud.
• Provide independent challenge to controls and track remediation with stakeholders and regulators.
• Report technology risk metrics and assurance results to senior management and board-level stakeholders.
• Coach and develop TGA team members and ensure methodology consistency.
