Job summary

United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd is seeking an experienced technology auditor to execute and lead audits across multi-cloud environments, on security controls, and data analytics initiatives. You will collaborate with stakeholders from IT and risk functions to assess technology risk and drive effective remediation.

The role requires strong knowledge of cybersecurity, virtualization, cloud platforms, mobile apps, and web technologies, with a minimum of eight years in related fields.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and platforms.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies and network security practices.
• Expertise in cloud auditing across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform environments.
• Experience conducting mobile security audits for Android and iOS.
• Ability to assess web applications and related technologies (Java, JavaScript, HTML, XML).
• Experience applying data analytics to audit/risk assessments (ACL, Qlik Sense, Tableau).
• Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience in technology audit or IT security.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification.

Responsibilities

• Execute the approved Audit Plan for assigned business and support functions.
• Act as Lead Reviewer or Team Member on higher-risk or more complex reviews.
• Independently evaluate the effectiveness of technology and security controls and recommend corrective actions.
• Support the development of data analytics and perform data analysis to enhance audit coverage.
• Identify emerging technology and industry risks and assess their potential impact.
• Manage end-to-end review activities and mentor teams when acting as Lead Reviewer.
• Develop, document, and adhere to audit standards and industry best practices.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and on-the-job training to build audit capability.
• Leverage technology and automation to continuously improve audit processes and efficiency.
