Job summary

SeaOwl Malaysia is seeking a Lead Process Senior Engineer to lead and enhance process engineering activities, boosting performance, reliability, and continuous improvement of our operations in Malaysia.

The role requires extensive Oil & Gas experience with a deep specialization in Technical Process Safety, and professional certifications to support safety-case and risk assessment work. You will mentor teams and drive best practices across projects.

Qualifications

• Over 15 years in Oil & Gas industry, including at least 10 years specializing in Technical Process Safety.
• Must possess at least two of the listed certifications (e.g., Professional Engineer and CIMAH or Professional Engineer and TUV SIL).
• Professional Engineer registered with BEM, CIMAH Competent Person (OYKMH), and/or TUV SIL Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate process engineering activities within scope of responsibilities.
• Analyze existing processes to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
• Support implementation of process changes and monitor effectiveness.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align operational needs with process objectives.
• Contribute to resolution of process-related issues and support decision-making with technical expertise.
• Ensure process documentation is accurate, structured, and maintained.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and develop best practices.
