Job summary

Michael Page presents a great opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead product design in a Malaysia-based engineering and manufacturing environment. You will oversee architecture, design, and development of electronic hardware, drive manufacturing transfer, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and mentor engineering teams across multidisciplinary projects.

Travel domestically and internationally may be required as part of stakeholder engagements and supplier

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years of electronic product design and development experience.
• Experience delivering end-to-end product development cycles.
• Strong digital circuit and system design expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, development, and implementation of electronic hardware solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers for innovative products.
• Drive development activities from concept through validation and manufacturing transfer.
• Apply design for manufacturing and quality practices across PCB, product and system levels.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the product lifecycle and mentor teams.
• Engage with customers with technical proposals, cost estimates, and solution recommendations.
• Lead projects with risk management, budgeting, and stakeholder alignment.
